EASY TO USE:
All you need is an ink pad.  With our suncatchers, getting the perfect print the first time is never a worry.  Simply wipe the print off until you get the perfect one (final print will dry within 15 mins).
 
INSTRUCTIONS:
Tap the ink pad (see our "ink pad" recommendation below) directly onto the pet’s fur-trimmed paw and gently apply it to the center of the clear disc. Apply pressure on each digit to make sure they make contact with the disc's surface. If you don't like the first attempt, no problem...just wipe the ink off with a dry tissue or rag and do it again. Once you love it, set the suncatcher somewhere safe for 15 minutes to let it air dry. Peel the protective paper backing off and place inside organza bag to give to the client.  IMPORTANT!  Please see "Ink Pad" below or click here.
 
DISC SIZES:
Small - 2" round disc, total suncatcher length including disc approx 6-7". This size works well for cats, small dogs and other small animals.
 
Medium - 3" round disc, total suncatcher length approx 7-8". This size works well for most medium size dogs/animals...terriers, cocker spaniels, etc).
 
Large - 4" round disc, total suncatcher length approx 8.5-10". This size works well for large dogs and other large animals...labs, retrievers, etc).

NO MORE BAKING:
There's no need to cure our suncatchers in the oven like some clay kits require. Just air dry for 15 minutes (see ink recommendation below) and it's ready to go home with the pet owner or mailed to them.
 
INK PAD:
Our recommended ink pad brand to use is StazOn Jet Black. It's designed to work with non-porous surfaces and takes only 15 minutes to dry.  Many other ink pad brands aren't made for smooth surfaces like acrylic and therefore do not dry on this type of material. StazOn will dry permanently to the touch within approximately 15 minutes. If you plan to use your existing ink pads for our suncatchers, be sure to first test their drying ability on a non-porous surface such as glass, plastic, stone, metal, etc before purchasing these. StazOn ink is solvent based, lightfast & fade resistant.  StazOn can be found at most local craft stores.

Each suncatcher comes with its own organza gift pouch to present to your client.
 
READY TO HANG:
Once your client gets home with their suncatcher, it's ready to hang using the permanently attached suction cup.
